Teacher-authors
play a critical role in the production of
ESCOT activities by contributing design
and pedagogical ideas, identifying links
to educational standards, and developing
teacher resources.
Teacher-Authors
Teacher-authors are members
of small teams
dedicated to producing activities
based on ESCOT software components.
Teacher-authors specify the educational goals,
contribute design ideas, and give feedback on
prototypes, informed by practical experience with
technology in the classroom. They research how
the activity relates to standards,
and may gather teacher resources such as solutions,
lesson plans, student worksheets, web links and
suggestions for extensions.
